Referrals are accepted from:

  • Child welfare agencies

  • Juvenile justice programs

  • Behavioral health providers

Admission Criteria

We serve youth who need:

  • 24/7 supervision and support

  • A clinically supported residential environment

  • Stabilization before transitioning to family or community settings

Youth FAQ

  • Youth of appropriate age with county permission may have a cell phone.

  • Yes, youth of age are encouraged to work.

  • Yes, each room sleeps 2 residents, the 2 residents will also share 1 bathroom.

  • School placement is determined by your educational decision maker, county, previous school and the local school district (no virtual and no on campus school). 

  • Yes, with county approval.

  • No, we do not have a point system. Youth privileges are directly tied to youth behaviors within the program.

  • No, residence of Riverview are encouraged to wear clothing reflecting their individual personality and style, however all clothing must be appropriate (proper length, no profane, harmful or hateful messaging). 

  • Yes, youth who are placed at Riverview and are of competing age may participate in local scholastic sports.

  • Yes, families are allowed to visit with county approval.
